Community LiaisonHello everyone! My name is Lily Nguyen and I am a second-year student in the School Psychology program at Chapman University. This year, I will be completing my practicum with Ocean View School District! School psychology is such a unique field and school psychologists can have so many different roles. But, if I could choose a few topics within the field that I’m interested in it is restorative justice, trauma informed care, and early intervention services. My passion is advocating for marginalized groups, learning about how we can promote healing through our practices, and engaging in conversations on how school psychologists can help create more equitable schools. In my free time I love volunteering (currently I volunteer as an advocate for youth in foster care), spending time with my loved ones, and being out in nature. Thank you for taking the time to check out our page! I am so excited to be a part of the CUASP board this year!
